# ¿Cómo interactuar con los mapas base?

Además de consultar cientos de datos geográficos de todo el territorio colombiano, la plataforma viene con herramientas que permiten combinar capas y comparar datos.

### Interactuar con los mapas base

En la barra de herramientas encontrarás la función de “Mapas base & capas” que permite intercambiar los mapas base, por defecto se encuentra activo el ***Mapa Topográfico***, al desplegar las diferentes opciones de mapas base encontrarás: el ***Mapa Hibrido*** compuesto por imágenes de resolución de 3 metros y la cartografía 1:100.000, el ***Mapa Físico*** que dispone de información geográfica de la división político-administrativa y el ***Mapa Satelital*** compuesto por imágenes espaciales con una resolución de 3 metros.
